Gilwell Park has a long history traceable back over 600 years. Today, it forms the focus for the Scout Association as its Head Quarters. A walk around the site reveals the layers of its past as shown by its trees. Today, a very significant population of veteran trees still remains with over 30 ancient and veteran trees, many old pollards, standing within the private grounds.
Remarks & Tree condition:
Possibly a tree that was just cut once, giving it two major limbs?
