Reason for nomination:

• This tree is one of four veteran trees standing in an old hedgeline to the west of the Chigwell Pony Riding Trust at Grange Farm. Adjacent to land that is to become a nature reserve/public open space.

Remarks & Tree condition:

• Significant large pollard. Ivy clad, hollowing with dead wood. Evidence of cut on the bolling changing over time giving a distinctive shape.
